Umm hey
Hey friends, it's me again
This week flew by and my memory is so bad soooo here are the highlights
1. My comp and I wanted Ramen, BUT THE MICROWAVE WAS BROKEN. So we thought to boil the water, BUT WE HAD NO POT! So... what did Hermana Barret decide to do? Put a PAN (like the kind where you put cookies on)... yeah a PAN! AND FILL THAT WITH WATER AND THEN PUT IT IN THE OVEN AND BOIL IT! It was the dumbest and most brilliant idea in the world
2. We went to zone conference... that was a good time
3. We are celebrating el dia de los muertos.... and it is as amazing as I thought it would be
4. For Halloween we just hung out as a zone and I played that one Hitler game and and and watched coco in Spanish. It was amazing
5. The people we wished would come to church didn't:( and we didn't get to find people :( and it was just a hard worker mission wise, but the Lord knows put efforts. And when our efforts are concentrated to the Lord, we will always be blessed. Always.
Here is something I have been pondering this week... the law of entropy. If you don't know what that is, it is simply that everything dies. And is unorganized. (Kinda) I have just been thinking about how metal rusts, and clothes get old, and our body's just decay.
But here is what I read this week
"...do these things that ye may [not] boast, but that ye may do these things for yourselves a treasure in heaven, yea, which is eternal, and which is eternal, and which fadeth not away."
In heaven, when everything is restored, and time is eternal, nothing will fade. Not our blessings, our treasures, nothing. We will get to be with our loved ones forever, we will he perfectly healthy, perfectly beautiful, perfectly happy. And that thought gives me so much comfort.
I believe that God had a perfect plan of happiness for each of us. But it is jusy that, a plan. We can't always be happy, life is too difficult sometimes. But it is a plan, a gradual progression. And one day, it won't fade away.
And I know some of you have been asking for my Mailing address so...
